About Gogos Edu

Gogos Edu is an online tutoring platform that instantly connects 6-12th grade students with highly qualified tutors, allowing students to easily browse and book sessions based on their specific needs, such as subject, time, and grade level.

How does Gogos Edu work?

Thousands of students in need will join our platform on launch day. Before this, tutors will set up their profile pages by listing their available subjects, dates, and times. Students will then be able to browse through tutor profiles and book sessions based on the tutors' availability, displayed in a calendar format.

Tutors and students will have online sessions at the scheduled times.

Simple 4 Steps for Our Tutors

For both students and tutors, we aim to make the process as simple and intuitive as possible. If you're interested, just follow the four steps below!

1st

Sign up and take a placement test.

Once you click the sign up button on this page, you will be linked to a survey that asks about the subjects you are available to teach. After that, you will receive tutor’s placement tests.

Test will have to be submitted promptly, and assessment process will typically take 1-3 business days.

2ND

Join our tutor’s community chat.

Approved tutors will receive an email invitation to join our online tutor chat. In this space, you'll stay updated on our latest news (launch date, policies, etc.) and have the opportunity to share your ideas for improving our service as we prepare for launch.

3RD

Make your Tutor’s Profile.

Our system is currently under development. Once it's ready, we will invite you to the Gogos Edu Tutor's Portal. You will be able to create your profile by entering your available dates, basic information, and other requested details. A new guidebook will be provided when the system is ready.

4th

Tutoring begins.

According to your availability, students will book an online session with you, and you will start performing the sessions.

How do I sign up as a tutor on Gogos Edu?

Once our system is ready, you will receive an invitation to join the Gogos Edu Tutor’s Portal. From there, you can create your profile by entering your available dates, basic information, and other necessary details.

Are tutors bound to specific locations?

Tutors must be residents of, or have legal authorization to work within, the United States. All payments will be processed through US-associated banks.

You may reside in another country or region and still work with us, provided you meet the above requirements and comply with the regional laws governing where you conduct your sessions.

What subjects can I teach?

You can teach any subject within the 6-12th grade curriculum that you are qualified in. You can list your subjects on your profile during the setup process.

How will I be matched with students?

Students will be able to browse tutor profiles and select based on their specific needs, such as subject, availability, and grade level. Our system may also recommend you to students based on your profile and their requirements.

How do I manage my availability?

You will be able to update your available dates and times through the Gogos Edu Tutor’s Portal, ensuring that students only book sessions when you are available.

How do I conduct tutoring sessions?

All sessions are conducted online through our integrated platform, once it launches on Q1 2025. This allows for seamless communication and learning experiences.

Will I receive any support or materials from Gogos Edu?

Yes, a guidebook and other resources will be provided once the system is ready to help you navigate the platform and optimize your tutoring sessions.

How will tutors get paid?

Tutors will get paid in our integrated online system every 2 weeks. You will be able to link your bank account and get paid electronically on our platform.

Does Gogos Edu withhold any taxes?

Gogos Edu doesn't withhold taxes from your earnings. You are required to file your related taxes on each dedicate term to the respective government(s) or entities.
